I am obsessed with Lavender. So if there is anything I can get in this amazing scent I definitely get it. I currently have hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, floor soap and body soap. I even spritz my pillow with a calming lavender scent before going to bed.
Since I have such a huge love for lavender, I was hoping to visit one of the fields while in France two years ago. Unfortunately, due to our schedule, I didn’t get the chance to. Since then, it’s been on my list of things to do. Fortunately, I was on Long Island a few weeks ago with a group of friends visiting the wineries out east when one of them mentioned there was a lavender field just an hour away. I was in shock and of course extremely excited. I even had the perfect halter wrap dress with me that would look perfect in the field.

It’s a family owned 17-acre farm with over 80,000 plants. For a full experience, the best time to visit is during the summer bloom typically June/July. When visiting, make sure to stop by their store and pick up some dried french lavender bunches (my favorite 🙂
