I was having drinks the other night with some friends and was asked how I keep my teeth so white since my vice is red wine. Everyone that knows me knows I’m obsessed with bright white teeth, so I tend to bleach them about every six months or so. So here’s my little secret…
What I’ve Used
I’ve done Both, Zoom and the home bleaching gels. Zoom is a procedure done at the dentist’s office and can take approximately 45 minutes, but pretty expensive. My preference is the home bleaching gels, which I get from my dentist. These can cost about $100 for a couple gel syringes. This process takes about 30 min depending on the strength of the peroxide gel. My only issue with this process is the tooth sensitivity after using it a few times, so I try not to do it as often. There’s also the Crest 3D Whitestrips, which work great as well.
All of those other options work great, but I wanted to try a teeth whitener that would not leave my teeth feeling sensitive and one that’s more natural. I did a little research and found another product that works AMAZING!!! Coconut activated charcoal by Organic Labs and Black Pearl activated charcoal. I was a little skeptic at first. I mean, how can this black powder brighten my teeth. Well, after just one try, I immediately noticed a difference. After the third try, my teeth were noticeably brighter. Seriously, I was shocked when I looked in the mirror!
What I really like about these products is that they really work and it’s safe to use. The products are made with all natural and organic ingredients for those in search of a more natural alternative. The powder used to brush your teeth is odorless and tasteless and doesn’t leave your teeth sensitive after using, which I love. The process only takes about 2 min, so it’s fast and easy. I will warn you that it is a very messy process, so I usually do it in the shower. If you’re not up for a little mess, there’s also a toothpaste option by Cali White, which I’ll be trying next.
If you want to brighten your teeth without the high cost, give these a try. I would love to hear from you if you do try them out.
