Hey love! Have I told you I appreciate you! Yes, you reading this post!
It’s June 1st and do you know what that means? No, not beach time, but yes, you can head there too. It’s Say Something Nice Day. Today is about fighting against unkindness, bullying, and the lack of politeness that permeates society. In the spirit of today and to always be nice, what better way to start your day then by knowing you are appreciated! I appreciate that you take time out of your day to read my blog and follow me on one of my social channels. Some of you are family, some friends and with some of you, we are just getting to know each other. Whatever the level of our acquaintance, I appreciate you!
In this day and age where we’re constantly being divided by people who forget that we have a common unifier amongst all of us, humanity, it’s important to take a moment and appreciate each other. Our differences, knowledge, beliefs, cultures, passions, are assets that make each and every one of us unique. Instead of pointing these things out as flaws we should appreciate them as what makes our world so rich and one that invites us to explore. A reason I so love to travel.
Being nice is free, it’s simple, and it’s within our control. It’s the reason I love the Always Be Nice brand and it’s message, which is simply, to Always Be Nice. They aim to positively affect people you come across on a daily basis. It’s desperately needed in the world today, where empathy, kindness, and respect seem to be in short supply. To always be nice will make you smile more, stress less, grow stronger and love harder. I don’t know a single person who couldn’t benefit from these things. The crazy thing is that all it takes are simple gestures of niceness. So come on and let’s pass the niceness on. Complement a stranger, remind someone you care about how much they are appreciated, hold the door for someone, smile at a stranger, or buy someone an ice cream ;). There are plenty of things you can do to live the always be nice way. It really doesn’t take much of an effort and the benefits are very rewarding. Trust me, you WILL smile more and stress less.
If you’re like me and love a good reason to shop or even better, a good reason or non-reason to make someone’s day, then head over to AlwaysBeNice.com for an Always Be Nice t-shirt, pin, stickers or great gift set that includes all of these and a bag of Always Be Nice coffee. They will last longer than a box of chocolate or arrangement of flowers. It’s a unique gift with a great message that someone is not expecting. Best of all, you can send these gifts anonymously if you really want to make it a surprise.
Visit AlwaysBeNice.com and use code maddy20 for a 20% discount off your order. Proceeds from your purchase benefit two initiatives this company helps out, El Tunco Remar, an orphanage in El Salvador and IHadCancer.com, an online community for cancer survivors, fighters, and caregivers.
Now, go say something nice or buy something nice and remember, it’s not only the act, it’s the frequency.
BTW, I receive SO many compliments every time I wear this shirt!
With X’s and O’s,
Maddy
